Did you know that:

Cassette replaced the night for lounging + drinking on a Thursday: Neon Nights, as of January 2011.

(Not so) Strangely enough, being shoved into 2011 makes us feel even older as our music is old enough to drink in the province of Ontario.

Neon Nights was hosted by The Cajun Attic in late 2009.

The DJs on rotation for the night were DJ Alice, Phillihp, and Dolston.

What kind of music will you hear?
80th Disorder, Abney Park, A-ha, Alien Sex Fiend, Attrition, Big Audio Dynamite, Billy Idol, Blondie, Bow Wow Wow, Camouflage, The Cars, Christian Death, Cindy Lauper, Cinema Strange, Clan of Xymox, The Clash, Cocteau Twins, Corey Hart, The Cult, The Cure, Delica-m, Depeche Mode, Devo, Duran Duran, Echo and the Bunnymen, Elvis Costello, Eurythmics, Flock of Seagulls, Gary Numan, Human League, INXS, Johnny Hollow, The Killing Joke, London After Midnight, Love and Rockets, Mesh, Ministry, Mission UK, My Bloody Valentine, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, The Nails, Nick Cave, Nine Inch Nails, Northern Pikes, Oingo Boingo, One to One, Pet Shop Boys, Public Image Ltd, Police, Psychedelic Furs, Roxette, Second Skin, Sex Gang Children, Shriekback, Simple Minds, Siouxie and the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, Specimen, The Smiths, Thomas Dolby, Thompson Twins, Till Tuesday, U2, The Vapors, Wall of Voodoo, XII Stoleti

CASSETTE

Neon Nights has evolved!

The night for Post-Punk, New Wave, and New Romantic has always been influenced by the original Punk and Rock music it could not exist without. Cassette is rougher around the edges with more punk in your post-punk while still keeping that New Wave progressive flow. We take you from the political unrest of the 70s, the underground of the 80s, gutters of the 90s, right through to the debt incurred insanity of today.
